US stock market closed (holiday) on occasion of good friday 03rd April 2015, Friday.

US Stock Markets both Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange will not be trading on occasion of holiday i.e Good Friday.

 There are also 12 states that recognize Good Friday as a state holiday: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Tennessee and Texas. Residents of these states might find that some municipal services and businesses, as well as banks, are closed regionally for Good Friday

Nasdaq Composite Update - 17- 03 -16

Market Close Report: NASDAQ Composite index closes at 4,774.99 up 11.02 points.

Thursday's session closes with the NASDAQ Composite Index at 4,774.99. The total shares traded for the NASDAQ was over 1.85 billion.

Advancers stocks led declining by 2.17 to 1 ratio. There were 1954 advancers and 901 decliners for the day. On the NASDAQ Stock Exchange 42 stocks reached a 52 week high and 30 reaching lows.

The NASDAQ 100 index closed down -.09% for the day; a total of -3.94 points. The current value is 4,400.26.
